Front Gate Projects

The front gate plaza is largely blocked off as pavement is ripped up and replaced.

Markings along the ground have popped up near Flags Funnel Cakes.

This area is likely slated for new pavement in the near future.

Silver Star Carousel’s building, along with surrounding walls, have been repainted to a lighter color palette.

El Mercado de la Plaza has been temporarily closed. The extent of its remodel is currently unknown.


Spain Transformation

Spain has been blocked off with signage teasing the 2026 dive coaster addition. La Fiesta de las Tazas and First Aid are currently still accessible.

An aerial view of Spain shows the flattened land once home to La Vibora. El Diablo’s train has also been dismantled, sitting behind Conquistador, awaiting its removal.

The Rancho de Pollo dining location is currently being demolished. All of its covered seating section has been torn down.

The structure had been one of the park’s dining locations since it opened in 1961.


Titan & Sidewinder

Titan’s paint refresh continues with a large segment of supports still awaiting a coat of paint.

All visible Titan track appears to have been repainted the new dark blue color.

Sidewinder has completed refurbishment and now sports a bright red paint job.


Dining Enhancements & Other Park Projects

La Cantina features bright new signage to go along with its refreshed Latin-inspired menu.

JB’s Smokehouse BBQ is currently undergoing an extensive remodel, including its outdoor express booth.

According to posted signage, JB’s Smokehouse BBQ is scheduled to reopen during the summer.

E.G. Sugarwater’s looks to be undergoing a refresh as its signage, television menus and point of sale equipment has been removed.

Trim pieces have been removed from Texas Arena. The exterior is likely getting a facelift, though the venue is only used to house haunts during Fright Fest.

Six Flags Over Texas 2025 Construction Updates

One of the park’s refill stations has been removed, located near Aquaman: Power Wave.

A marker has been found outside of the park, likely in preparation for new dive coaster construction.
