Six Flags Over Texas features a number of live entertainment options during Fright Fest. All shows are free with entry to the park. Fright Fest shows are popular, so we recommend arriving to venues earlier than planned.

The Awakening

Returning for 2024, The Awakening is everyone's notice that things are about to become incredibly scary around the park. Gather near Silver Star Carousel as Fright Fest monsters are unleashed into the park.

Calamity at the Creepy Horse Saloon

New for 2024, live entertainment returns to the Crazy Horse Saloon during Fright Fest. Grab a tasty beverage and settle in for bizarre and weird variety acts each evening.

Catacosmic

New for 2024, DFW’s own Catacosmic brings live music to the Silver Star Carousel Stage. Catacosmic can also be seen performing during The Awakening and the Point of No Return closing show.

Dead Man’s Crossing, The Horseman Cometh

New for 2024, the famous gunfighters are back for Fright Fest, but with a darker twist. Catch the first haunting at Court House Stage, then board the Six Flags Railroad at Texas Depot for a spooky interaction with the undead and the Headless Horseman.

Returning for 2024, Dr. H.H. Holmes has returned to the Southern Palace Theatre with his sinister circus of singers and dancers and captivating specialty acts in this macabre theatrical production.

Haunted Houses

Fright Fest 2024 sees the introduction of several new haunts themed to horror franchises, along with returning favorites. These attractions can be enjoyed at an additional fee. Please note that haunted houses feature intense themes, strobe lighting, fog and other effects.

The Conjuring Haunted House Six Flags Over Texas

The Conjuring Universe

This new experience, located in Gotham City, takes guests on a tour of the Warrens’ most hair-raising and gruesome cases, including topics that inspired The Conjuring, Annabelle and The Nun. Cursed artifacts in each realm make you the prime target of the conjuring.

Reject Row: Raincheck

Reject Row, returning for 2024 in Majestic Theatre, features the unfortunate discovery of a hidden lair in an abandoned theatre. Deep inside are down-on-their luck artists with a maniacal twist. Let these crazed performers entertain you.

New for 2024 in Texas Arena, celebrate the 20th anniversary of the SAW franchise with a terror-filled experience that plunges guests into the depths of Jigsaw’s twisted mind. Come face to face with Jon Kramer’s most diabolical contraptions during torturous trails.

Terror at the Polynesian Palm

Returning after its debut at Scream Break near Crazy Horse Saloon, the grand Polynesian Palm Hotel has stood abandoned since a deadly hurricane in 1964. Locals blame the catastrophe on the destruction of their sacred flower’s habitat. Stay away or you may never escape.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Based on the most recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre iteration and located near Titan, those who enter are “cast” as visitors to Harlow on the hells of the influencers set on revitalizing the town. Beware, however, as your arrival leads to a stunning and deadly secret.

Making its debut in 2024 at Texas Arena, Sam, the infamous Spirit of Halloween, guides you through a dark and twisted candy trail nightmare filled with supernatural encounters. Be cautious when stepping into a world where tricks dominate treats.

Unearthed

New for 2024 and located near Pirates of Speelunker Cave, venture into the tunnels of an abandoned mineshaft on a quest to find the Relic of Life Everlasting. The exciting journey takes guests back in time to the old west. Beware of booby traps.

Scare Zones

Free with your park admission, scare zones are themed areas of the park that feature monsters whom aim to frighten those passing by. The park recommends that guests sensitive to these conditions enjoy the park during the day. Scare zones feature strobe lighting, fog and other intense effects.

Scare Zones are activated at 7:00pm each evening following The Awakening.

Chainsaw Alley

New for 2024, this collection of chainsaw-wielding madmen are strongly against the gentrification of their town and aren’t afraid to show it along the Texas area pathway towards Titan. Keep out of Harlow, Texas if you want to survive.

Freak Town

Back in 2024, the strange characters have made their way out of Southern Palace’s Freak Show and are ready to scare, with their unique talents, those that dare to enter the park’s France section.

Goblin Attack Squad

Reimagined for 2024, hardcore members of the 1980s punk scene come out from hiding in the underground to pledge full-on anarchy on Gotham City. This attack squad is full of anger and resentment.

Trick ‘r Treat

New for 2024, Sam, the infamous Spirit of Halloween, guides you through a dark nightmare filled with supernatural encounters. Be cautious as the debuting haunt spills out onto pathways in the park’s Tower section near Caddo Lake.
