Belly-Down Ride Experience Comes to Texas SkyScreamer
Six Flags Over Texas has announced that the all-new “Extreme Flying Experience” comes to Texas SkyScreamer for a limited time. Guests can trade in the standard swing seat for a flight suit and experience Texas SkyScreamer laying belly-down.

Six Flags Debuts Yet Another New Season Pass Tier Offering, Eliminates New Membership Purchases
Yesterday, Six Flags Over Texas introduced a new three-tier season pass offering. While not every Six Flags park has adopted this concept, we should expect to see these offerings go chain-wide before spring. Now that memberships are no longer for purchase, we explain what current members can expect and how they can learn more about the new Legacy Member program.
First Event of 2022 Canceled, Park President Fired, Other Park Updates
Six Flags and their new CEO, Selim Bassoul, are undergoing several corporate changes and attempts at restructuring. This has affected Six Flags Over Texas as the Fire & Ice Winter Festival has been canceled and the park's president, Ron McKenzie, was relieved of his position. Work has picked up on Aquaman: Power Wave and its addition of a turntable and crews continue to prep the all-new Pirates of Speelunker Cave dark ride. Six Flags Over Texas Announces 'Pirates of Speelunker Cave' Ride
Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, celebrated its 60th anniversary today by announcing that an all-new ride experience will make its debut for the 2022 season. Pirates of Speelunker Cave, is a state-of-the-art attraction that will place guests squarely in the middle of a pirate treasure hunt thwarted by resident Speelunkers.
60th Anniversary Museum, Tower History Display, New Pink Things & More
The 60th birthday of Six Flags Over Texas is soon upon us! Join us for a look at the 60th Anniversary Museum now open in the Crazy Horse Saloon. Operating through August 8, the museum takes guests back in time with a large display of several historical artifacts.
