The Many Ferris Wheels of Six Flags

Sylvester and Tweety’s State Fair-is Wheel was the third children’s Ferris wheel to be located at Six Flags Over Texas. The first installment, known as Kiddie Ferris Wheel and Elmer Fudd’s Fewwis Wheel, was located in the children’s area between 1982 and 1997. The second Ferris wheel was installed in 1991, meaning Six Flags Over Texas had two Ferris wheels running simultaneously for a number of seasons. The second version, known as Porky Pig Magic Wheel, was removed at the end of the 2000 season. In 2001, Six Flags Over Texas remodeled and expanded their Looney Tunes Land area, renaming it Looney Tunes USA. With the absence of a children’s Ferris wheel attraction, Sylvester and Tweety’s State Fair-is Wheel was installed.
